About the event
A bi-weekly, one hour session running for the Fall term (Sept-Oct). Limited spots available. Ages 8+.
The fall workshop session is an introduction to techniques of acting including, stage directions, pantomime, improv, and audition prep. Students will learn through games and activities with lots of peer performance opportunities in a small, safe setting. This workshop can help shy students come out of their shell, and help polish up presentation skills. Acting class is not just for future actors! It is preparation for life. All courses will be led by experienced theatre director and K-12 licensed drama teacher, Taylor Dykstra. Please note that each term workshop is designed to focus on one aspect of theatre. This spring workshop session will include, vocal projection, Shakespeare and more!
An informal final performance will be given for parents on the last day of class.
